Schooled

Im reading, Schooled. It is about a hippie joining a school like Mason. The book is one of those books that changes the narrator every chapter so you get to see everyones thoughts. The hippie had a really hard time getting used the different way of life and is made class president as a joke.

Over the course of the book, the charachters devolpe. One of the girls who was mean to the hippie turned nice and ended up having a crush on him. A boy who was friends with the hippie at first, got jealous and turned mean and caused the hippie getting really hurt by the football team.

I think the theme of this book is that one must not let others influence you. I think this because no matter what, the hippie stayed the same and did not turn into someone he did not want to be just to fit in.
