Fat Angie is a book about a fat girl named Angie who gets bullied at her school for her weight. Her older sister was perfect at everything, skinny, and pretty but she went to the army and everyone thinks she is dead now. After they found out the Angies sister may be dead, Angie went on a crazy streak and thats how she ended up gaining all the weight.
I made a text to self connection to this book because we just had an assembaly about bullying and how to stop it. Also it said we shouldn't judge people by their looks which is exactly whats happening to Angie in this book.
